60mm and 40mm
40 mm size blue metal jelly is primarily used in road works and for laying foundations for building. The four corridor national highway project that passes through Tamil Nadu has increased the demand for 40mm by manifold. In addition flyover construction in the city of Chennai and in surrounding towns has tremendously boosted the demand or this product. Hot ready mix plants that specifically mix concrete for roads using 40mm blue metal jelly have already evinced interest in buying our production. 60mm is used primarily in railway operations or for ports
M-Sand
M- Sand - Blue Aggregates Manufactures M-sand that is an excellent substitute for river sand.
Blue Aggregates manufactures M-sand which has been proven as a better and substitute for river sand.
Shapes of the M-Sand Particles manufactured by us resemble the shape of River sand particles; and its bulk density and pecific gravity are also comparable to that of river sands’. Mortars with M-Sand show better workability and require lower water-cement ratio to achieve a specific flow value when compared to mortars with river sand. M-Sand show higher retentive values. Compressive strength of mortars with M-Sand is higher than that of mortars with river sand for mortar flow in the range of 85 – 100%. M –Sand Mortar shows higher compressive strength and modulus for masonry when compared with the values for masonry using river sand.
Stone Aggregate Roads and Construction
20mm
amongst the varied sizes produced the demand for 20 mm sized blue metal jelly is the highest. Blue metal jelly of this specification is widely used in all types of construction including road works, housing, all types of concrete vertical structures and edifices.
12mm
12mm blue metal jelly is also used for laying of roads in addition 12 mm is greatly in demand in all construction projects that requires laying of stones, slabs for both flooring, kitchen slabs and other such construction.
6mm
The smaller size stone of 6mm measurement is also used for road works and actually forms the top layer on the road. 6 mm sized blue metal jelly is slowly becoming a new market favorite as it is required for making of hollow block concrete bricks. Factories specifically into production of hollow concrete bricks have already approached us for regular supply of this material.
Dust
every product byproduct from the stone crushing industry has a use including the dust generated from the crushing process fine dust is demanded for filling in both building construction and road works. The demand for dust is not seasonal but through the year in fact even when there is a slight slump in demand for other products due to rains the demand for dust is never reduced and actually increasing during the rainy season.
